Le Chamois accommodation is at the base of Blackcomb Mountain and the unit that we had was great. All the individual units all have a great mountain views even if your don’t have one of Blackcomb Mountain!! Blackcomb base is literally a minutes walk away and ski lift passes and ski rentals can all be picked up here. We have in the past stayed in all the ski in/out accommodation in the upper village and now that the new Gondola is operational I would say that Le Chamois is as good an option as you no longer ski onto the Wizard Express. The unit that we had was bright and very well furnished. Our daughter ( 23) slept on the pullout bed and assured us it was very comfortable. Lots of storage space and the 2 full bathrooms were ideal for our party size. Housekeeping were very good, cleaned daily and towels changed when requested. Spa had an amazing views of the ski runs and the gym was very well equipped. Hotel is a five minute very scenic walk into Whistler main village and it is also serviced by the free shuttle bus that runs all day and most of the night.
