Wonderful staff, we were initially allocated a room on the front which was slightly noisy, a quick call to reception and our room was changed to one at the back, this had a connecting door, which we decided to live with we could hear them, however after the checked out things changed and we asked to be moved, the staff were again very obliging and found us a great room. The ski valet service is good . What’s missing is an onsite restaurant for breakfast, there are lots of cafes nearby, but sometimes you just want to go downstairs and have waited service and porridge. Can’t fault the hotel for location or customer service.

We stayed at Crystal Lodge for 5 nights in March. We loved the location as it was a very short walk to the lifts and shops. The staff were very professional, welcoming and friendly. The ski service was great; we loved the fact that the team welcomed you at the door and took our skis off us so we didn’t have to walk them down the hotel steps. We ate in the restaurant and had a drink in the Bar but we also made use of the kitchenette area in our room. I don’t think our room had been refurbished recently but it was perfectly clean and functional.

Other than issues with the person on reception the evening we arrived who didn’t set up our room keys correctly. Had a great time at Crystal Lodge. Have stayed at Pan Pacific Village and Summit Lodge in the past. Although not quite on the same level as those it makes up for it with its location being even closer to the slopes. We stayed in a junior king studio that had plenty of space and a kitchenette so was able to make our own breakfast in the morning. Would happily stay there again.
