Ski area - exceptional, diverse much preferred to Whistler we went to a few years back, quieter on the hill so worth the effort of the extra flight.

Resort was good different snow to Whistler so took a day to get used to it. Only busy up to 31st then when quieter. Lots of well groomed walks around the village which was good. Small village, very friendly but not many restaurants so lunchtime was slightly chaotic.

Unfortunately the snow was a bit disappointing after our experiences last year but there was still plenty by European standards.

Sun Peaks not busy, always access to the lifts, great snow. Resort quiet in the evenings. Our hotel [Sun Peaks Grand] was excellent.

Interesting skiing with different charactertics to the different areas: lots of fun. We were a little disappointed that some of the areas marked as glades had not been well maintained (we skied down a bike track), and there were flat bits on some of the connections. Resort is pretty and very good food at Powder Hounds and Bella Italia.

Snow great, slopes great. Plenty of room to spread out and even at the busiest times you can get "ski and quiet". The restaurants are a bit pricey but everything else is excellent. Everything is compact except the ski area and makes getting around easy. Everything is well maintained and in good condition making the whole resort look top class. Self catering options would be good.

This is a superb resort with a small village and vast ski area, which is suitable for all levels of skiers. The lifts cope very well with the numbers even during the busier weekends - there are never lengthy waits. Once you are on the mountain, you can stay at the top and ski for hours without returning to the base - although, then you'd miss Bolacco's coffee bar and pastries! The piste map is com…

Skiing excellent, lots of intermediate and advanced skiing with plenty of off-piste/powder opportunities. We had 30-50cm of fresh snow over a 10 day period, the inland location makes for dry powdery snow. Resort functional but limited apres-ski choice for bars and restaurants (+/-5 or 6) and catering in the mountains very limited (one restaurant).

First time to Sun Peaks and we were very impressed. Excellent ski conditions all be it very cold for the first couple of days (-28!) compact resort makes it easy to get around but surprised at the large number of restaurants and selection which were all of a high standard.
