A really nice place to stay. The only hotel on the mountain, so if you are a ski in / out fan as Stuart and I are it is a must !!! With modern comfortable furnishings the condos are spacious and well equipped. The hotel is designed over three buildings each with it’s own ski locker room, an individual locker per condo. The outdoor pool felt like walking into a bath, an enormous bath on Revelstoke Mountain - WOW. I like to swim first thing so I had the pool and hot tub to myself - a perfect start to the day and a great way to warm up those ski / board muscles before hitting the hill. There is underground parking for hotel residents so if you drive to the resort you don’t have to worry about digging the car out when leaving. There is also a heli pad, just incase you have recently won the lottery !! The staff are all extremely helpful and so full of energy, many there for the season to ride the mountain so happy to discuss their favourite runs. There are a couple of bars in the complex, good food and have Hendricks on the shelf, always a huge positive in my book. The Hotel runs a courtesy shuttle to Revelstoke town for guests, this runs until around 11.00 pm and guests are also given a local shuttle bus pass too so trips into town and back was easy. The town has a great small town community feel still and isn’t touristy, yet. The shops are open until 9.00 pm so plenty of time to mooch and buy that essential new jacket…… Some good places to eat. If you like a beer and pizza after a day on the hill then Nico’s Pizzeria is worth a visit. Basic, but the locals go there - always a good sign, good pizza with snowboard films playing, (made for a happy husband). I would suggest you stock up on basics - bacon. eggs, bread etc… on your way as there isn’t a food shop on the hill, but a few odds and ends can be bought in the cafe, closes at 5.30 pm. Tea and coffee with sugar and creamer are kept stocked in the condos by housekeeping. We loved Revelstoke, going back is a MUST and will stay at Sutton Place again, no question about it !!!
