The Sutton Place Hotel Customer Reviews

Sutton Place is a very well appointed hotel right on the slopes. The standard of accommodation is first class and the underground parking is free. The resort is not that big but it was perfect for a few days skiing. We used the hot tub and pool which was lovely apart from the fact that you had to walk through the underground car park to get to it as it was in another building - and we didn’t fancy walking outside in our robes!

On check in it appeared that there was no knowledge that we’d been awaiting availability of a one bedroom apartment so it seems that message never got through?! Directions given by the front desk to find our apartment were very confusing. Result was that it took us a great deal of time to find our room. We weren't the only ones so this was clearly a common issue. All rather stressful after a long drive. No possibility to call reception from other buildings before getting to our room to get help (only central Canadian reservations!). I had to walk all the way back to reception (2 buildings away - outside) to try to get help). This was a very stressful experience on arrival! However, the response, because we recognise that nothing's perfect in this World and nobody means to make mistakes, was excellent! Concierge called us later to make sure everything was now OK, they apologised profusely, and the following day left a bottle of wine in our room with a very polite and apologetic message. The accommodation was excellent, well appointed, luxurious, no skimping on supplies, great location and views, great service and support, couldn't be faulted, we'd be very happy to go here again.
