Lake Louise is a small resort and a little quiet. We thankfully hired a car so that we were able to explore a bit and find some nice places to eat. It would have been a bit limited if we had no car.

Beautiful area with lots of other activities available as well the downhill skiing. Close to the Lake Louise ski resort where there is plenty of skiing for all abilities on quiet slopes. Good, reasonably priced food options on the slopes. Lake Louise really does look like a scene from Frozen!

Excellent mix of runs on both front and backside slopes to suit all levels of ability.

Lake Louise is a greatly under-appreciated destination with slopes and terrain to suit every level of skier. The back bowl is terrific.

Excellent resort, excellent snow, couldn't fault it, very quiet on the slopes this time of year.

We weren't sure whether to go to Banff, Sunshine Village or Lake Louise or whether it would be a hassle to go to the ski area from the Fairmont Chateau, but it all worked out really well. The locals all said Lake Louise is the best ski area with the longest runs. The snow was amazing for the time of year, didn't go slushy at the bottom at all. There's a free bus from the hotel every hour and you c…

Lake Louise is fantastic. It is meant to be quite icy when there has not been much snow. However we were lucky to get 20-30cm in a couple of days and it was fantastic. Long runs with a good mix of options from groomed, moguls and tree runs. Was our fave place (though the powder probably contributed a lot to it)

We'd certainly fly with Transat again, the staff were great. The flight was less crowded on the way out and we had an extra seat to ourselves, packed on the return but it was a newer plane than on the outgoing journey, which had individual entertainment screens. For future travellers you might like to mention that Transat doesn't take any currency on board, everything must be paid for by credit ca…

Good slopes, long runs and good parks. Borders in the group didn't enjoy as much as sunshine but this was due to snow conditions more than anything else.

Lake Louise is truly beautiful - The Chateau is expensive to say in but worth it for a special occasion (our honeymoon). The service is excellent, we particularly appreciated the coffee machine in our room, and the view from a lakeside room stunning. The Lakeview Lounge evening menu was good value but the wine expensive, the Walliser Strube expensive but worth experiencing. Away from the Chateau t…
