Lake Louise Inn Customer Reviews

The hotel was beautiful, welcoming and friendly. Our room was comfortable and we had the most incredible view to watch the sunrise every morning. The restaurants were good and food was lovely, would say the breakfast buffet is slightly overpriced for the hot savoury options but the a la cart menu was great. Again, staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you. The swimming pool was open late which is great and had two jacuzzis - given that there is not much else to do in Lake Louise after a day on the slopes the pool tended to be full of kids but we managed to find a good time slot to avoid them!

It had renovations going on when we were there which wasn't ideal. We were upgraded to a room which was average. Good pool and hot tub area. The two restaurants at the hotel were fine, but the one with the bar was shut for a number on nights that we were there which was disappointing. The breakfast at the hotel was expensive, there was better value breakfasts on the mountain or in the local cafes.

A big ski hotel - rooms OK, bathrooms OK. A big fairly anonymous place but scores highly for its shuttle to the ski base, indoor pool and hot tubs. Gym good too for pre-post ski stretches. Laundry on site. Housekeeping was not great - it was very busy when we stayed and the staff, most of whom were temp workers on gap years lacked the experience to manage things. Nothing major or enough to stop me going back. Couple of restaurants but we went off site other than an average pizza in the hotel. There are a few places in walking distance. This is a big place, ample parking and services. It's in need of a freshen up which it's getting. Yes, I'd go back even without it.
