Accommodation was dated. Lodge was idyllic though. No WiFi except for main lodge, no television in rooms - BLISS!. Initially they were not aware of dietary requirements, despite me emailing the main reception the week before. They did cater but it was a bit disappointing re lack of choice.

It was very good, weather and snow were perfect. I think we were there at just the right time as their heavy snow came later than usual this year. Emerald Lake Lodge was just as I remembered and we did have a room overlooking the lake, thanks for organising. Apparently March is a slow time for them and so it felt as if we had the place almost to ourselves. It's perfect for getting away from it all…

Stayed at Emerald Lake Lodge before and it was how I remembered it. Really like the log fire in the room, however we did manage to smoke out our friends in the next room due to sharing a chimney.

This lodge is in a stunning location beside a lake surrounded by forest and high peaks. Accommodation is in individual cabins housing up to 4 rooms and the rooms feature fire places with supplies of very easy to light logs. This makes for a very cosy atmosphere. Meals in the main lodge are either in the bar or restaurant and are reasonably good and priced. We stuck mainly to the bar food and enjoy…

Stunning as always! We got upgraded for free to a bigger room with bigger bed (enough room for a small town!) and got woken up by the wolves howling at 3.30 am first morning! We never ski from this place, better to stay in the area, cross country ski, snowshoe and walk.

Absolutely stunning location, third time we have been back here and hopefully we'll be back again. We use this as an end of ski trip relaxation stop off, ski hills are a way off, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, walking or just mooching about the lakeside are the things to do here. Great place for chilling out!

Very enjoyable holiday - really rate Emerald Lake Lodge, good location for both Kicking Horse and Lake Louise.
