Best resort ever. Arrived in a snowstorm and fortunately everything was off-piste. I was worried about my wife maybe not being able to do much skiing here given this place's fearsome reputation. However, it was also her favourite resort. The resort itself is small and quiet, but also queueless. There is plenty of easy terrain from the chair at the bottom, but the gondola takes you up to the top of…

Once you're over the long drive it’s all worthwhile the resort was in the mountain and has everything there, plenty of snow and terrain for all types of skiers and boarders.

Second time there for me and third for my partner so we are fans. Not huge terrain but it's excellent quality skiing. Three days is a good intro to some great terrain and if you don't mind hiking a short distance there is even more. Not hard to to find some quite challenging runs. Need to have a car to explore Golden for restaurants, shops and a great Canadian atmosphere. Kicking Horse is small bu…

Great resort with great skiing. Loved the single lift from bottom to top allowing a big descent. Fabulous. Great staff as we’d come to expect in Canada by this stage.

We love Kicking Horse. It was our fourth time there. We were pleased that the General Store was open again, although their choice of what to stock was a little strange. It was a little disappointing that the Pioneer Chair was not running again, but it didn't really detract from the experience. The Winston Lodge is the best place to eat on the mountain and well worth a visit.

Good choice of runs to suit all abilities. Return to base every time to access other areas could be a problem at peak times but we managed to avoid that problem. Limited eateries so always busy but adequate for most skiers needs.

We had one day in Kicking Horse from our base in Panorama. Kicking Horse is challenging with great steep snow bowls and some good bump runs and some tree skiing (but not as good as Panorama for that). It is obviously a mecca for the off-piste buffs and we were lucky to have good snow. It might be a bit tricky for intermediate skiers though we did have good runs on the lower slopes. It was bus…

We were very lucky with the snow, but the skiing/boarding was awesome and our condo in Glacier was very well appointed, big and comfortable (we got a free upgrade from a hotel room). Peaks bar food excellent, good cocktails. The village store for groceries has closed down: load up in Invermere. Hired some skis for the powder, shop very helpful and excellent value.
