Castle Mountain is great as is Fernie. A great combination if you want real skiing with a friendly no rush atmosphere. Like skiing in the 70s just good skiers and no fuss.

Great small mountain with challenge and good value cat skiing. A community friendly culture. Nice people. No choice for evening food.

Great people, terrain, snow and value for money. Few, beyond one resto.
