Town is beautiful. Sunshine Village is nice but lots of flat areas and not as many long runs. Lake Louise is fantastic. It is meant to be quite icy when there has not been much snow. However we were lucky to get 20-30cm in a couple of days and it was fantastic. Long runs with a good mix of options from groomed, moguls and tree runs. Was our fav place (though the powder probably contributed a lot t…

Banff Springs. Was by far and away the best hotel we stayed at. Service was incredible and the place was beautiful, everything from check in to leaving was outstanding. Banff town was an added bonus. Shame everything including WiFi is extra but that is the Canadian way I suppose! I would suggest to future customers to not use the Shuttle if they have transport as it can take up to an hour from the…

Banff itself is quite expensive. Lake Louise is the most like a European resort out of the four that I visited. Lots of varied skiing is available. The resort itself is a 35 minute drive from Banff though. One could quite happily spend a week skiing here. Sunshine is a lovely smaller resort, again similar to a European resort in some ways. Lots of skiing for all abilities.

I don't know if I should say this because it could make Banff busy but here goes. Banff a small but friendly Town in Canada with nice Hotels and beautiful scenery, restaurant and bars to suit all budgets oh! and the skiing is to die for.So in two words DREAM LAND.

Great holiday... loved Banff. Great town with nice restaurants. Really cold though, -29 was out coldest day and the lifts don't all operate when the temperature drops that low. Plenty of other things to do when it's too cold to ski though.

Although we had to catch buses to the 3 main ski areas we found this to be hassle-free. The buses ran on time from the main pick up point, our hotel (Mount Royal) car park.

Banff is an excellent base for any holiday, the bus service isn't as convenient as Ski-In / Ski-Out but it's very well organised and does work well.

Banff is a classic vibrant ski town with lots to do. The only think I did not like was the distance the town was away from the ski area.
