Each year, as the Christmas leftovers start to look less appealing, our attention turns to next winter and providing you with a hand-picked selection of early booking offers for our most popular resorts in North America, Scandinavia and Japan.

Although the 2019/20 season seems a long way ahead, now is the perfect time to start planning - and booking - to secure the best deal possible. In our experience, January to April is the best time to book the following season for the biggest savings and greatest choice of accommodation and flights.

Not convinced? Here is why right now is the best time to get in touch and start planning your 2019/20 winter snow fix with Ski Safari.

The Biggest Savings

Hotels are only just starting to go on sale for 2019/20 and as an incentive to book early are currently offering the lowest rates and biggest discounts - many of which end 30 April. As well as savings including up to 55% off and free nights, many hotels are offering additional incentives such as room upgrades, complimentary breakfasts and half price transfers.

Resorts are also keen for you to book early, with big savings available on lift passes, as well as rentals, ski school and activities - all available to book through Ski Safari.

The Most Choice

In our most popular resorts, key hotels and room types soon book up - especially those with the best incentives - so the earlier you book, the greater your choice of where to stay. There's nothing worse than coming to book your ski holiday, only to find that you're limited to a handful of accommodation options.

With many families (including my own) looking to travel during school holidays, booking early is even more important over peak dates like Christmas and February half term to ensure you get the holiday and hotel you want, when you want it, at the best possible price. In Scandinavia especially, our most sought-after family options are often taken by the end of April.

You'll also have better flight options, which may give you more time on the slopes or an easier journey to or from the airport, as well as your choice of seats. We have access to flights 11.5 months in advance, so we're able to book your tickets as soon as they become available.

The Best Experience

Booking your ski holiday should be fun and a part of the journey, but with so much information out there and so many variables, it can be hard to know where to start. We offer a true service experience - we only sell what we personally know and we have a team of skiers and snowboarders with decades of experience who are on hand to help you enjoy the planning and booking process.

The earlier you get in touch, the more time we have to make sure every part of your holiday is perfect, without having to worry about prices going up or availability becoming scarce. You may come to us with a resort or hotel in mind, but we'll always be ready to suggest alternative options if we think they're more suitable and together we'll work out exactly which is the perfect fit. We want to find the perfect ski holiday for you!

But What About Last Minute Deals?

Although we do feature late booking offers, they are more to show what's still available to book across our programme. Waiting to try and grab a last-minute deal only really works if you're not fussed where you go or stay.

Many operators offer big late booking discounts on holidays they haven’t managed to sell. They do this because they have pre-committed to paying for seats on flights and rooms in accommodation. They’d rather get a sale of some sort than leaving it empty and unsold. You may grab a bargain holiday, but there’s usually a reason why no one has booked it earlier. We operate differently and don’t commit ourselves to specific flights or accommodation, which means we can focus on finding you the best holiday at the best price. We can do that at any time of the year, but the earlier we start, the greater your options and the less you'll pay.

If you're concerned about snow conditions, we only recommend resorts with great snow records and we can advise based on our personal experience. Some resorts even have a snow guarantee, so you can be confident that you'll have plenty of snow - even when booking a year ahead.

Let's Talk

Call our ski specialists on 01273 224060 or request a quotation online and let us work on the details, get your holiday booked, and then spend the year ahead looking forward to it.

Alternatively, for an idea of how much you can save, make sure you take a look at our first 2019/20 ski offers - we'll be adding more throughout January.
