“The largest ski area of Aspen's 4 mountains, Snowmass has superb intermediate terrain. With much of the accommodation ski-in ski-out this is a great family destination”

Why Snowmass?

Snowmass is a purpose-built village at the base of the largest of Aspen's four mountains. Although the resort does not have the same ritzy appeal as Aspen, the lodging is good value-for-money and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

Snowmass is known for having the biggest vertical in the US and boasts 5000 acres of skiable terrain. It is an excellent resort for all abilities and the slopes are kept in pristine condition. Flyers are handed out every morning updating skiers on the recently groomed slopes and the scenery is spectacular with panoramic views of the surrounding high desert.

Snowmass receives an average of 300 inches of snow every year. At the end of the day the apres-ski starts at the Cirque Bar and Grill where there is live music nightly. We can strongly recommend Snowmass for families who want to experience something a bit more low key than Aspen but not compromise on the skiing.
