Northstar Ski Holidays

Northstar is one of the fastest developing ski resorts in North America and an exciting new addition to our programme. Located in North Lake Tahoe it offers not only an excellent ski holiday destination in its own right, but is also another great base to explore all the resorts in the ski area. The attractive village base is centred around the large outdoor ice rink with a good selection of shops, art galleries, bars and restaurants. This is also the focus for most of the lively après ski - from roasting marshmallows around the fire pits to dancing to live misic or even watching a movie on their outdoor cinema screens.

There have also been new on-mountain developments including a new high speed lift system and the introduction of brand new ski terrain for 2008/9 season - further developments planned for the future.

Northstar is an excellent resort for a family ski holiday with great learn to ski areas for the children, excellent ski school as well as an attractive and safe resort centre. The wide groomed runs on Mount Pluto with their stunning views over Lake Tahoe offer great intermediate terrain whilst much of the recent ski area expansion has been into advanced terrain adding new runs and gladed areas, perfect for the Tahoe powder. Northstar is also a great option for snowboarders with 5 terrain parks, and it's a breeding ground for some of the best pro-snowboarders in the USA.
