Why Big White?

Big White's combination of abundant snowfall, modern village, top quality ski-in ski-out accommodation and first class facilities for children, make it one of the world's best resorts for families.

The accommodation is arranged around the Village Centre and the Kids Centre on the main 'street' which you can ski along. The resort has a handful of restaurants, that provide good honest food at sensible prices, and Snowshoe Sam's is the bar of choice. The Happy Valley Adventure Park features tubing, skating, snowmobiling , North America's only Ice Climbing Tower, dog sledding, mini z's (kids snowmobiling),and snow shoeing.

The trail map doesn't do the skiing justice - the area is much bigger, the runs longer and more varied. Its long rolling cruisers will have you whooping with joy and the steep descents of The Cliff quaking with fear. Beginners are very well catered for and Big White is a superb resort to pick up the fundamentals of the sport and quickly improve.
