The Scandic Voss is a new addition to the town, situated at the foot of the new gondola and platform for the famous Bergen Railway.

Everything you need is within walking distance of the hotel - bars, shopping and restaurants, plus the state-of-the-art Voss Gondol which leaves directly from the hotel, whisking you to the skiing at Mount Hanguren peak in under nine minutes.

The hotel was very modern, warm and comfortable with good facilities. A very good buffet breakfast. Make sure to book for dinning on Friday and Saturday night. I liked the sauna and the very convenient boot room with easy access out to the Gondola. The hotel is right next to the train station and very convenient for the town and access to the lake.

Fantastic hotel, perfectly placed for the train station and Gondola. The food was fantastic and well worth going half board as the restaurant books up quickly if you do not already have your table reserved. The rooms were modern and comfortable with great views across the frozen lake.

Scandic Voss was perfect. Right next to the train station and the Gondola, and close to the centre of town - which had a variety of restaurants, food outlets and shops. Such a convenient location right by the station and the gondola which made it very easy to get to and from the slopes. Especially with kids having to carry their skis. We had adjoining rooms which was great with the kids. Good size rooms and nice bathrooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location (entrance off the station platform, and next to the gondola). Nice welcome. Rooms were clean and tidy, good sized but a bit 'travelodge'. Lovely breakfast options.
