At Apex they have Rippin' Rascals, which provides a safe place for your children to learn from pros who specialise in teaching kids. If you need daycare, a lesson, or a combination they can do it. Head over to the Rippin' Rascals corner located next to the Longshot Cafeteria, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Childcare Programmes (18 mths - 5 yrs).
Daycare - from $14 per hour, maximum of 6 hours per day and discounts given for more than 3 consecutive hours. Contact email@example.com to book.
Facilities & Services
The Mountain Shop at Apex - Located in the Apex Mountain Village, under new ownership and management. A wide selection of ski and snowboard equipment, outerwear and accessories. Repair facility, boot fitting, modifications and custom foot beds.
The Rental Shop - Over 400 pairs of regular, high performance and children's rental skis.
The Trading Post - "Your everything store on the hill" Convenience store.
Hands on Therapy - In the heart of the village - Hands on Spa and Yoga classes located in The Apex Mountain Inn & Spa Hands on Massage located at Bodies on Power in Penticton.
Dining - The Rock Oven Bar and Grill, The Edge Bistro, The Longshot Cafeteria, The Gunbarrel Saloon.
Tube Park - Lift accessed and located next to the The Mountain Shop at Apex. Open Friday 4pm - 9pm, Saturdays from 10am - 9pm and Sundays 10am - 3.30pm.
Apex NHL sized Hockey Rink - the NHL sized outdoor hockey rink is the perfect location for a pick-up hockey game, curling, bonspiels and skating practice. The hockey rink is lit and a selection of skates are available for rental.
Cross Country Skiing - Nickelplate Nordic Centre offers 56 km of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing. Open Mon-Fri 9am - 3pm, rental equipment available.
Snowshoeing - There are plenty of snow shoeing trails all over the resort from easy strollers to challenging hill climbs. Contact Hoodoo Adventure Company for added information about their tour and rental options.
Adventure ice skating loop - Skate through the trees in the 1km long ice loop, the loop is lit in the evenings through to 11pm.
Daily and weekly events - free mountain host tours, night skiing, yoga classes and more.
