Contemporary in style and known for excellent service, the Scandic Hafjell has great facilities and a good range of rooms.
Originally built for the Lillehammer Winter Olympics, the hotel was purpose-built with access to winter events and skiing in mind. Located in the heart of the village of Hafjell and close to the slopes (a short public bus ride or a 15-minute walk), the Scandic Hafjell is ideal for exploring the area and skiing.
The hotel has been recently updated with an outdoor adventure theme. Some of the superior “Explorer” rooms are even fitted with their own mini climbing wall and the option for children to sleep on hammocks (additional charge) rather than the regular beds.
On-site there is an indoor swimming pool, gym, and a popular bar and restaurant serving an à la carte menu, pizza menu and occasional buffet.
We recommend you rent a ski locker at the base area so you can leave your equipment there.
