perfect little resort with all the amenities. Despite the size, the infrastructure was all there and plenty of off piste available for those wanting a little more challenge. Voss was fantastic. It is a small resort but with enough variety to keep the whole family entertained for a week. There were plenty of gentle blue runs for beginners, a kids park for beginners to play in, a bigger park for more experienced riders and some lovely easy off-piste to be had when there was fresh snow. The resort is perfect for families or beginners. I took my two children who have never skied before and it was perfect in terms of quiet slopes and no queues for the lifts. The only down side is there is only one option to eat and drink in the resort and becomes busy at peak times. The town itself is pretty quiet and not much goes on. It does lack options to eat and drink.

Voss is very convenient to get to by train from Bergen. It’s not a big resort but was perfect for our family who were still learning to ski. Having ski rental and ski lessons and the restaurant all in one place was very handy and right by the gondola. Only issue was lack of snow when we were there so only one run open. But very few people and no queues for the lifts.

Excellent town by a beautiful lake frozen whilst we were there.
Some nice restaurants.
Excellent local 25 m swimming pool.
Great access by rail from Bergen or Oslo - a great way to arrive.
Cinema and library.
Really enjoyed it.

Limited snow when we arrived early season but the runs that were open were well groomed and no lift queues. A couple of good runs for the beginners in our group

A very nice resort. Everything is easily accessible including plenty of shops. The Norwegian people are very helpful and welcoming. It is nice to have the option to use the pass in Myrkdalen as well. Easy access to do other trips as well as skiing. Would be a very good resort for a long weekend trip.
