An excellent variety of intermediate and advanced terrain. Good snow conditions, we had fresh snow for our first morning skiing. Enjoyed skiing with the mountain hosts showing us some great skiing areas which would be hard to find as new skiers to the resort. We also learnt a lot about the history of the resort which was very interesting. Extremely quiet resort, even on powder days everyone …

Red Mountain is excellent and the slope side accommodation was good too. (Silvertip lodge is less convenient for skiers than Slalom Creek if you have a choice.) Rossland is a friendly, small town with enough to keep you amused for a week but the bus service between resort and Rossland leaves a lot to be desired.

A stunning ski area! Don’t be put off by the apparent small area and lack of vertical this place will blow your mind. We skied 7 days and never did the same line twice. Endless trees chutes and bowls. If you like very long groomers this is Not the place for you. There is little on mountain F&B and Red itself doesn’t do APRES like Europe but if you want off piste skiing then make the trip.

Skiing good, very disappointing that the main pub (The Loft?) closed at 5.00 pm so only place to get food and drink in the evening without driving to The Cut or Rossland is The Josie.

Nice varied terrain: we weren't superlucky with new snow but still great fun. Easy to navigate around. Magical world above the valley clouds.

Starting with the positives, the mountain itself is great, with a really good variety of trails, offering gladed tree runs, steep technical descents and easy groomers all across the four mountains. Despite unusually low snowfall, the mountain was managed well with nearly all terrain open throughout. We also didn't see a single lift line for the duration. Unfortunately, like most resorts, Red has b…

Good mountain with a wide variety of terrain, including a few catskiing runs. Kept us busy for a few days! One decent sized lodge and one snack hut on the mountain. Quite slow lifts though. Modern ski in/ski out accommodation available at The Josie hotel, with a good bar/restaurant. Not a lot else going on at the resort base in the evenings but thereis a regular inexpensive shuttle bus to Rossland…

Excellent. Surprising amount of intermediate terrain - very different resort from a few years ago.

Good all round service at the base of the resort - for rental skis and passes. Excellent Snow host available free twice a day at 9.00 am and 12.30 pm. Superb and varied runs - especially through pine forests. Only niggle was the lack of footrests on some lifts.
