Whistler & Hawaii Twin Centre
The beautiful islands of Hawaii are one of the premier destinations in the world. Miles of wonderful white sand beaches, some of the best surfing in the world, lush greenery, extinct volcanoes, friendly people and luxurious resorts and hotels – the exotic mixture is hard to beat. Combine this with skiing in Whistler, some argue the best mountain resort in the world, for a twin-centre holiday that is perhaps the ultimate holiday experience.
We offer flights with Air Canada via Vancouver to Honolulu on the island of Oahu and to Kahului on Maui, giving options for different experiences of these beautiful islands. Separate add-on flights to Kauai and other islands in the Hawaiian group can also be arranged. Flying time from Vancouver is about 5 hours. We recommend spending the first week in Whistler and then going on to Maui - to get the best out of your trip you need to spend at least a week in each destination. On the return a stopover in Vancouver works well with the flight times and helps with the jet lag! The flights are very popular so need to be booked well in advance. Christmas and New Year are particularly busy times. February and March are better and this fits well with skiing in Whistler.

Oahu Island:
Honolulu on Oahu is the capital of Hawaii and the main gateway to the islands. The city is made up of distinct areas including Waikiki with its superb, if busy, white sand beach overlooked by Diamond Head, a 760ft high extinct volcanic cone. We offer a number of hotels on Oahu, most are in the Waikiki area close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Other attractions accessible from Honolulu include Pearl Harbour, which has several museums and memorials including battleships and submarines, as well as shopping and art galleries. Outside Honolulu, Oahu offers some of the best surfing beaches in the world - Pipeline, on the North Shore, being one of the most famous. It is no place for beginners, who should stick to more sheltered beaches, but a great place to watch the experts.
Hilton Waikiki
The hotel is a superior property with 625 guest rooms featuring refrigerator, in-room movies, in-room safe and coffee maker. Enjoy the sunset from a private lanai. Private bathrooms feature tub/shower combo. The hotel has a business center, hospitality rooms and offers room service and is close to all major attractions.
Maui Island:
If you are looking for somewhere a little more off the beaten track, you should head for Maui. We highly recommend this option for those on honeymoon, or looking for a quieter and more relaxing time. It is a stunningly beautiful island with many beaches, waterfalls and lush greenery. Of course, the most popular activity is simply relaxing. However, there is plenty more on offer if you can tear yourself away from the beach or poolside. Snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing, golf and tennis are easily arranged if you want something sporty. Or there are tours of the island by jeep, by boat, or helicopter if you want to see the sights. Cycling is a good way to explore the island and the eastern end of Maui is dominated by Haleakala, a huge dormant volcano, if you feel like a hike. If you prefer culture, you can experience a luau - a Polynesian presentation of dance, music and food.
