"Telluride is renowned for its awesome scenery and wild west historic town. With a new 1 stop flight service from the UK it is now a lot easier to get to and makes a great twin centre Ski Safari with either Aspen or Crested Butte."

Why Telluride?

The stunning San Juan mountains and charming Victorian mining-town make Telluride a very special and attractive ski holiday destination. The mountains here are steeper than in many other Colorado resorts and the town has more character.

These features attract the rich and famous who like a little more privacy than in some of the larger ski resorts. With them has come new development in the form of Mountain Village, a new base area with hotels and condos, built on the hill.

Although there are some smart shops and restaurants, the town still has a genuine feel to it. There's plenty of steep skiing if you need a challenge, as well as some great cruisers immediately above Mountain Village.  Telluride is a great place to relax, admire the scenery and enjoy your skiing.

Two-centre trip - If you are travelling to Telluride, you should definitely look to combine it with a stay in Crested Butte - the two work very well together.

Ski Safaris Combine Telluride with other ski resorts in Colorado.
