Solitude is one of Utah's secret gems. Located in the Big Cottonwood Canyon the resort receives an average of 500 inches of snow a year. Recent development of its cosy alpine village has provided a beautiful haven to escape the crowds with quiet slopes, no lift lines and acres of un-tracked powder to match. Honeycomb Canyon, on the backside of the mountain offers a backcountry feel and is accessible for those of intermediate ability and above.
