Copper Mountain Resort Guide

Insider tips from our team

Facilities & Services

  • Woodward at Copper - Woodward is known by many as the world's premier action sports and gymnastics camp, and Woodward at Copper is the first winter-focused action sports facility bearing its name. The Copper facility provides riders and skiers with the same progressive learning opportunities that have previously only been made available to summer action sports like skateboarding and BMX. Progressive teaching tools including trampolines, foam pits, resi-pits and bungee systems are used to allow athletes to push the limits of their own abilities, and of their sports, in a safer, supported environment. 1-day (winter) to full week (summer) camps are available.
  • Frisco, Copper Mountain’s Town - The quaint downtown of Frisco is located just six miles from Copper Mountain via the Free Summit Stage or by car. Frisco offers over 30 restaurants and 40 stores for added dining and shopping opportunities.
  • Factory Outlet Shopping at Silverthorne - If you have room in your suitcase, just 15 minutes' drive from Copper is the Silverthorne Factory Outlet shopping centre. With 56 stores, and brands such as Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, Levi's, Under Armour, Ralph Lauren and GAP at bargain prices, this is definitely worth a visit!
  • Free Snow Cat Skiing on Tucker Mountain - Snowcats deliver guests to Tucker Mountain, elevation 12,337 ft., where they'll meet high alpine adventure terrain better known as The Taco, The Nacho and Fremont Glades to name a few. The Tucker Mountain Snowcat experience is an out-of-bounds adventure, well within the boundaries of Copper Mountain.
  • Mountain tours - Free mountain tours are a unique way to discover Copper Mountain’s hidden secrets. Tour times are yet to be released yet, so it's best to ask one of our specialists upon enquiring or booking.
  • Getting around - Free shuttle bus system throughout the resort. Free public transportation (Summit Stage) to Breckenridge, Keystone, Frisco, Dillon and the Silverthorne Factory Outlet Stores.
  • Cash points - Alpine Bank offers a full bank at Copper Mountain Resort. There are cash machines located in the East Village and Center Village.
