Favourite Ski Safari
Utah - skiing 4 different resorts in 4 days (it would have been more if time allowed), to exploring the National Parks of Zion and Springdale finished off with a quick jaunt in Vegas, all within a few hours’ drive of one another. This trip offers so much diversity and breath-taking scenery, there is no chance of getting bored.
Best mountain moment
Being dropped off on-piste in Zermatt by helicopter, following a scenic tour of the Swiss Alps. I felt like an A list celebrity during those few moments.
Ski/ boarding history
First skied at the ripe old age of 3, although I spent most of the time on my Dad’s shoulders cruising around the slopes of Val Thorens! I’ve skied almost every year since, with the exception of a few years. I am fortunate enough to ski the best resorts in the world as my job!
Resorts visited in 18/19
Tremblant (with a Montreal add-on), and Whistler
Nothing set in stone but my wish-list for next season includes (in this order) - 1) Japan 2) Jackson Hole/Yellowstone safari
I completed a race driving training course at the famous Silverstone track, I had the second fastest lap out of a group of 8 (men!) and me!
Top ski trip recommendation
For me, the best times to visit some of our North American resorts are March and April. We mustn’t forget how good the conditions can be at this time of year, the best deals can be found during these months! Adding to that, blue skies, un-crowded slopes, no lift line queues, late season lift ticket prices.
