You'll depart from the Zermatt helipad kitted out with your avalanche safety equipment and whisked up to peaks which give you up to a 2500m descent in just one run. Air Zermatt hold the accolade of carrying out the most difficult mountain rescues in the world, so you know you'll be in safe hands.

"To say you've skied a 2500m descent on the Zermatt glaciers is a well-deserved bragging right - just ask the Ski Safari team who did this in March 2016."

Itinerary

You'll meet at the Zermatt heli-pad to have a briefing with your mountain guide and be kitted out with avalanche safety equipment and a climbing harness. You'll then fly to the start point of the descent which will take 3-5 hours. You may need to catch a train or taxi from where you finish back to Zermatt.
