We've changed our booking conditions to give you as much flexibility as possible
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, uncertainty remains over travel to the mountains this winter. But we can help you book your ski holiday with confidence with our Flexible Booking Policy.
This will allow you to book now and lock in your preferred dates and accommodation at the best price, secure in the knowledge that your money is protected and you can make changes if needed.
We've lowered our deposit to £100pp
We've reduced our deposit to just £100pp so you'll have less to pay upfront.
We're providing additional flexibility
If you want to move or reschedule your trip, you can do so at any time with no amendment fees, right up until your final balance is due. You can change your destination, accommodation, flights, dates (including transferring your booking to winter 2021/22) or even swap your skis for wheels and change your trip to a Freedom Treks cycling holiday in 2021. Where the new holiday costs more, the difference will be added to your final balance. Where the holiday costs less, you will pay the lower amount.
We've removed our amendment fees
If you do want to move or reschedule your trip, we won’t charge amendment fees right up until your final balance is due. Once your balance has been paid, amendment fees will apply.
We're extending our flexible booking conditions to winter 2021/22
With our full programme now on sale for winter 2021/22, we're extending our Flexible Booking Policy to cover next winter, including our lower £100pp deposit.

There are some restrictions on this Flexible Booking Policy, depending on which suppliers are involved in your booking and their individual booking conditions. For example, some flights require full payment at the time of booking or prior to the main holiday balance due date and some lift pass early booking offers require immediate payment. Any services paid for at the time of booking will be in addition to your deposit and are non-refundable. This will be carefully explained to you during the booking process.
This Flexible Booking Policy applies to all new bookings confirmed from 01 July 2020 to 31 January 2021 and should be read in conjunction with our full booking conditions. Where there is a conflict with those booking conditions - for example, the deposit amount under ‘Booking your holiday’ and the amendment fee and cancellation schedules under section A of ‘Amendments, transfers or cancellation’ - the terms of this policy will prevail.

What happens if I am unable to travel due to restrictions in the UK?
If the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advises against all but essential travel from the UK to your holiday destination, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options, including changing your destination or postponing to a different date. If we are unable to provide a solution you’re happy with, we will provide a full refund.
If your holiday can go ahead as planned but restrictions in the UK that would apply on your return make it impossible for you to travel, for example a requirement to quarantine, we will try to provide alternative options, including changing your destination or postponing to a different date. If we are unable to provide a solution you’re happy with, you will have to cancel your holiday. Our booking conditions will apply and you will lose your deposit and have to pay a cancellation charge. You may be able to make a claim on your travel insurance policy and we will provide any documents needed for that.
What happens if I am unable to travel due to restrictions in my destination?
If restrictions at your destination mean that your holiday there will be significantly affected, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options, including changing your destination or postponing to a different date. If we are unable to provide a solution you’re happy with, we will provide a full refund.
If I’m concerned about travelling to a destination, can I change my holiday?
Our Flexible Booking Policy allows you to change your destination, accommodation, flights, dates (including transferring your booking to winter 2021/22) or even swap your skis for wheels and change your trip to a Freedom Treks cycling holiday in 2021. You can do so at any time with no amendment fees up until 10 weeks before your original travel date.
If you are concerned about travelling to a destination within 10 weeks of departure and there is no FCDO advice against travel, please speak to us as soon as possible to discuss your options.
Is my money safe if I book with Ski Safari?
Any money you pay to us is protected by our ATOL (No.4488) if you are booking a package that includes flights, or through ABTA (Y3035) if you book a package without flights. This means that if we were to fail as a business 100% of your money would be protected. Read more about our financial protection.
