Ski Asia Safari

Combine Japan’s legendary powder skiing with South Korea’s fascinating culture and quirky ski scene.

This pioneering ski safari combines Japan’s famous powder skiing with South Korea’s ski culture and capital city. A mix of old and new, Seoul’s teahouses, mega-malls and traditional bathhouses are captivating, and the food is excellent - try a bibimbap (a traditional rice dish) washed down with a cold Cass beer.

Three hours from Seoul, Yongypyong is South Korea’s leading ski resort. A 2018 Winter Olympics host, there are slopes for all levels plus a huge entertainment complex. You could also visit the Olympic Village and Ski Jump Stadium at Alpensia.

From Seoul, the journey to Japan’s Hokkaido island takes less than three hours. Here, Niseko is one of the best places in the world for powder skiing, while the smaller resorts are known for their authentic culture - expect noodles galore, and finish each day in a traditional onsen (hot spring).

Finish off with a couple of nights in Japan's capital, Tokyo, where you can find temples, food tours, and even robot shows!

"Super convenient, the flight from London to Sapporo (in Japan) via Seoul makes it easy to combine South Korea's capital city and Olympic slopes with Japan’s famous powder skiing."
