Ski Asia Safari
This sample 14-night itinerary is our suggestion of how you could divide your time between Japan and South Korea.
Arrive in Seoul and spend a few days settling in and seeing the sights of the city. We recommend staying in Insadong, where you're within easy reach of the Gyeongbokgung Palace and the Myeong-dong shopping district.
Take a transfer to South Korea’s premier ski resort, Yongpyong, for three days of skiing. Experience the Olympic slopes, go night-skiing until midnight and work your way through the huge entertainment complex at the base station.
Fly direct from Seoul to Sapporo (Japan) and transfer to Niseko. Spend the next days exploring the four interlinked ski areas and experiencing some of the best powder skiing in the world. Sushi, noodles and onsens (hot springs) are also guaranteed.
From Niseko you could take a day trip to a neighbouring resort. Our top two suggestions, go to Rusutsu for untracked powder and long ridgelines, or Kiroro for perfect piste skiing and modern lift infrastructure.
