This luxury rail adventure combines world-class skiing with sparkling mountain scenery and gourmet cuisine. Travelling entirely by train gives you plenty of opportunities to take it all in.
In Zermatt, you can enjoy the expansive terrain and excellent snow, or cruise down easier pistes to the Michelin star mountain restaurants. St Moritz is equally appealing, with scenic slopes overlooking the lake, luxury hotels and fantastic fine-dining. It's possible too to add a stop in Andermatt in the middle of the Glacier Express journey. "The crossroads of the Alps" and one of Switzerland's oldest, the authentic resort of Andermatt combines a historic village with modern accommodation options against the impressive backdrop of the mighty Gemsstock peak.
Travelling between these iconic resorts on the Glacier Express is a real highlight, and the full-day journey includes lunch with panoramic views.
Flying in and out of Zurich, you could also spend a night in Switzerland’s largest city.

With a maximum of 20 places on the train, travellers in Excellence Class will receive an exclusive concierge service with a red carpet welcome and check-in at Zermatt or St Moritz, a guaranteed window seat and tablet for entertainment, a welcome drink from the Glacier Bar, snacks and soft drinks throughout the day, an aperitif and appetisers followed by an exquisite and regional five-course lunch, including wines, and an afternoon tea.
