Revelstoke is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a major increase to lift capacity, which means more 'stoke for all in 2017/18.

The Revelation Gondola is gaining 24 new cabins and the Stoke Chair an additional 21 chairs, taking the lift capacity from 7,299 to 9,700 skiers per hour. That means less time queueing and more time exploring North America's longest lift-serviced vertical.

The resort is also exploring the possibility of adding a direct ski run from the top of the Revelation Gondola to the base of Ripper Chair, which will give skiers and boarders quicker and easier access to the awesome 'Glades of Glory' in the Ripper area.

Revelstoke received over 12 metres of snow last season - its second snowiest ever. Here's hoping they can beat the record to mark their 10th birthday.

One of the handful of non-skiers before joining Ski Safari, I've now skied in North America, Europe and Asia. After my first taste powder and tree skiing in Japan last winter, I'm looking forward to more off-piste adventures!
