Backcountry boarding in Japan. A day of hiking with my friends in Hakuba and boarding down the North Face of the Happo-one mountain on a beautiful, sunny April day after a fresh dump!
Ski/ boarding history:
Started in my dad’s backpack when he used to ski (how he got away with that I have no idea!), shoved down the hill on my own set of skis from as early as possible and then started boarding at 16. Loved both since and am also a qualified ski instructor.
Resorts visited in 11/12:
Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, Vail, Laax, Lenzerheide and Whistler.

I’m German but I was born in Japan and lived there for 15 years!
