Stowe is a small, pretty New England town with skiing on Vermont's highest mountain a few miles up the road. Hotels, shops and restaurants are either in the town or along the road up to the skiing - the town trolley takes you back and forth.
The skiing is suitable for all abilities, with the famous Front Four double blacks, being some of the toughest in New England.
