Snowmass is great for families: The Treehouse Kids' Adventure Centre at the base of the El Camp Gondola offers a superb 'Kids Club' with themed rooms for kids aged 8 weeks and above. With beginners' runs at the top of the mountain after a quick ride up the gondola, Snowmass has created a superb learning environment for kids of all ages.
Get out and about: Once settled in Snowmass it is easy to spend your days and evenings here - but make sure you use the shuttle bus and get the most out of your 4-mountain lift pass and sample Aspen's evening attractions.
Tubing: Snowmass's excellent Tube Town, located on Assay Hill at the bottom of the resort, is open from 1 til 8 pm daily and is great fun for everyone over 4 years old.
Best known for: Wide-open, groomed cruising and family-friendly activities. Snowmass has long been rated one of the best family ski areas in North America.
Best-kept secret: Dine for lunch at the rustic Lynn Britt Cabin located mid-mountain. The daily "Noon Groom," a freshly groomed run that reopens at noon. Take the short hike to the Long Shot trail where intermediate skiers and snowboarders can get a backcountry experience while in-bounds.
Parks and pipes: 3 terrain parks (new Snowmass Terrain Park, Makaha and Scooper), 1 super pipe and 1 beginner pipe

FREE Parking: Town Park Station (formerly Rodeo Lot), shuttles depart starting at 6:40 a.m. every twenty min. until 7:20 a.m. for the ski area. 10 minute service 7:20 a.m. – 5:10 p.m. HOV (four or more) park free in lots C.
Paid Parking: Lots C, E, and Two Creeks $13 per day. Permits (winter only) can be purchased from the parking attendant from 7:30 a.m. until noon daily in Lot C. Two Creeks permits can be purchased from the parking attendant from 8 a.m. until noon daily.
FREE Bus Service: Snowmass skier shuttle runs every 10 - 15 min. from Rubey Park in Aspen. Shuttles run from SM to Aspen from 8:00am – 4:45pm. To access Two Creeks by bus from Aspen, riders must take the #3 Village Shuttle from the mall. RFTA will not be running a direct bus from Aspen to Two Creeks.
