"We really enjoyed our stay at Park City. Location is great - just 45 mins from SLC, 3 ski areas within 5 mins drive and another 4 an hour away. I'd heartily recommend a car so you can experience the different ski resorts. Park City itself has a wide range of restaurants and bars - and there's a free bus service so you can enjoy some beer. The service is top notch, no queues and friendly lift operators etc. We stopped here as part of the Utah ski safari - fabulous! Don't forget to do a spot of shopping at the Tanger outlets by the highway.
Park City ski resort is good fun, quite a nice mix of runs and easy to work your way around the resort."

"Easily the best resort in North America - skiing conditions are incredible with amazing visibility combined with more powdery snow than I have ever seen. Worth the hassle of not being able to fly direct to Salt Lake City just to ski the area."

"This is a perfect base to ski all the resorts locally with a vibrant town and excellent facilities."

"Park City is very different to European resorts we have stayed in. It's a large town, and has a very attractive main street for shopping and eating, with a sort of 'old wild west' feel. Good supermarkets are open 24/7, which is great if staying in a condo. The skiing was great there too - our first experience of USA service, with really friendly lift operators and 'mountain hosts' who tell you how to get around and where everything is. Park City is an ideal base to Ski other resorts too - eg. Snowbird (much over-rated we thought) and Solitude (gorgeous, brilliant skiing for intermediates and experts). be aware that Deer Valley and Alta don't allow snowboarders."

"We stayed in Park City, so had the choice of the local mountain and The Canyons (being boarders we couldn't do Deer Valley). Getting to and from the mountains is easy on regular public (free) buses. They drop you right in the base resort of either mountain. At The Canyons there is a lift office next to the bus stop, Park City is a short walk through the village. Both mountains are constantly being updated with refurbished lifts and mountain restaurants. Piste signage is clear and easy to navigate at both resorts.
Plenty of routes to ski / ride for advanced / intermediates and in 1 week we had not run out of fresh new areas. For 2 weeks you may want to consider a car to get Alta / Snowbird etc"

"Skied Park City, The Canyons, Deer Valley, Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, Brighton mainly in wonderful deep powder in best ski area in world. Liked also UTAH Olympic Park, Maine street shops and restaurants and scenery. Relaxing in city peaks hotel swimming pool and looking out on to park city ski slopes also amazing. "

"As we normally ski in Colorado, Park City was a departure for us. However, we were really impressed by everything the resort had to offer - the large variety of skiing for all abilities, the lack of lift queues, the ease of parking and access to the slopes (we only had to carry our skis a few yards) as well as ease of access to Deer Valley resort. Main Street had a good range of shops and restaurants."

"There's a lot to recommend Park City as a ski resort, it's only a pity that the connection to Salt Lake City is indirect. That siad, the proximity of SLC to the slopes at a mere 45 minutes is a darn sight quicker than the bus to most other resorts from the airport serving them. With Park City itsef, Deer Valley and The Canyons right on the doorstep and served by buses at 20 min intervals, there's no shortage of great skiing and the on-slope services are brilliant, especially at Deer Valley. We stayed at the Peaks and the buses stopped at our door so the slopes were a mere 15 - 20 min ride away. Deer Valley was particularly fantastic. Never too busy with pistes groomed perfectly which suited us 'blue cruisers' but there were also some serious groomed blacks and lots of gnarly mogul bowls and chutes as well as at least one green run from every lift. Best of all, shredders are banned from Deer Valley. However, save your pennies in advance. The $/£ exhange rate crucified us and lift tickets at $83 dollars are becoming pretty expensive although other US skiers tell us Colorado is even more so. As for night life, Park City is stuffed with bars and restaurants. The Utah liquor laws mean some are clubs but the membership fee is minimal to get round that. Don't look for Michelin standard food, there isn't any but that doesn't stop the restauarnts being more expensive than the US average. A simple Mexican meal in search of a cheap evening, with no beer or wine still cost us $30 each. A decent meal (no dessert) with wine on our first night cost us $200. Wine is well overpriced. You can always buy a bottle at the state controlled liquor store and pay corkage however. All in all, a superb holliday with brilliant skiing that suited us everywhere except in the pocket."

"Despite having less snow than last year we have had a great holiday. All three ski resorts of Park City, The Canyons and Deer Valley were great fun but Deer Valley was something special.Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Tri-resort pass bought in advance was terrific value - and not available locally. Eating out was generally expensive - you have to remember to add tax and tips! More so this year both because of the exchange rate and also prices seem to have risen quite steeply in 12 months."

"Park City is an excellent base to explore Deer Valley, The Canyons and PC mountian resort itself. All linked by free bus service which also connects you to Main street,Redstone and a number of other places to eat and shop in the evenings. The shopping in Main street is touristy and expensive but albertsons, outlet mall, wal-mart, redstone shopping area are all on the bus route. Don't try to visit salt lake city without a car though, the round trip in a taxi is very expensive!"

"We loved Park City. It was our first time skiing in the US. The town is pretty with good airport access and plenty of facilities and restaurants. Choice of 3 ski areas linked by an excellent free bus service."

"We went in mid March-- the best snow we have ever seen in the US or Europe, locals said it was something special this year. We were encouraged to go to PC by an American aquaintance who is as hooked as we are now. For those of you thinking about trying "PC"-- it's the greatest combination of:-
Spacious Rockies skiing - ever! -(PC),
massive areas with something for all skills -(Canyons),
quality, landscape and service unimaginable in Europe -(Deer Valley).
You would be very busy if you skied everything available and interesting at these three resorts in 7 or eight days. However good old American sevice comes in strong-- you can find a number of companies doing day trips in Minibuses to Alta, Snowbird etc etc- for little more than the cost of a day ticket.
We stayed at the Marriot- 3(US) Stars(God knows what in Europe!).
Quote--"Carry your skis to the complimentary shuttle (front door -every 15 minutes) to the resort centre sir?".
If you miss that, the "Park City shuttle" to Park City, Canyons and Deer Valley stops by the ski room, -unbelievably helpful drivers and locals.
With £1=$1.98 or so -a coffee comes out at around £1; The American equivalent of a Pint of the local Utah 3% beer costs about £1.75 in any of the atmospheric bars on Main street. Park City has a wide range of eating places from simple diners, coffee shops, burger places, through to international stuff and top quality US-style grill rooms. PC is the first place we have skied in the US, where we were not broke or fed-up with the food on and off-piste after 10 days.
Everyone in the party came home with something of quality bought, unplanned, on Main Street- which was too big a bargain to miss.
It's along flight from the North of of England on the way out; and occasionally tempting to consider Las Vegas as a stopover. But would you really give up several days skiing in that snow?.
Some years ago we bought the book "1000 Places to see before you die"--- it's all in there; especially the Stein Erikson Lodge for your farewell lunch.

"Just a quick note to say many thanks for arranging our ski holiday to
Park City and the onward trip to Las Vegas. We really enjoyed the
holiday. The skiing in Park City area is fantastic - in fact we seemed
to prefer The Canyons on our doorstep to the other resorts because it
has a good variety of terrain and we were lucky with lots of powder on
our 2 days there. We also went to Solitude and Alta, both of which are
very pretty and we found good skiing. We are definately convinced about Utah skiing for the quality of its snow and the friendly atmosphere,
albeit the food can be a challenge! Timberwolfe Lodge was very nice too.
We enjoyed the road trip at the end and had a fun couple of days in Las
Vegas.

"Great wide and empty motor-way pistes which were well-groomed. Resort infrastructure was a bit weak: lift queues were long at peak times; lift passes system pretty antiquated; too few buses (make sure you stay near to the slopes). No night-life in the European sense (although we were there at the end of the season) and probably better for families than younger groups. Very cheap given the low state tax."
