"We stayed here for 12 nights in Feb 2008 & had a fantastic time.
Accomodation - A studio in Tucker Mountain Lodge. This studio was spacious & well equipped. You had ski lockers on the ground floor & it was a short walk on a snow free/ heated pavement to Copper 1 building in which you went up an escalator to go outside to the lifts. Minimum of walking. For those with tired legs after a days skiing you could flag down a free electric car to drop you off at your accomodation.
Athletic Club- worth a visit, nice pool, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs
The Skiing - Conditions were excellent & even on snowy days you never had a white out due to skiing on pistes enclosed by trees. The pistes were never crowded even on Presidents Day Long Weekend. During the week you were often skiing down a piste by yourself. At weekends there were lift queues but as you had the beeline advantage upgrade on your lift pass you bypassed all the queues.
Some of favourite runs
Greens - Coppertone, Soliloquy, Scooter
Blues Jacque's Pique, Copperfields, Bouncer, Andy's Encore.
The pistes were generally wide.
If you want to play in powder snow away from the crowds go up yhe Rendevous Lift as this area was often deserted.
Restaurants - Imperial Palace - very tasty Chinese food that contained lots of vegetables a lovely change from salads in most other American restaurants.
Endo's Wide selection of reasonably priced food. Huge portions
Alpinista Bistro - nice food but expensive for what you got.
Jack's slopeside bar - nice bowls of Chilli & soup at lunchtime.
Double Diamond Restaurant - delicious ribs
Pizza Carlo - Great Pizzas & salads
Ski Safari - well organised holiday & great service. Would definately use them again."

"An excellent all-round resort, has a little of everything to suit everyone. I recommend at least one breakfast in the nearby town of Frisco, you won't be disappointed. Also go snow-mobiling if you have the chance. The resort itself is a little commercialised, but that's what you get in the US. The lifts are a bit slow, but rewarding when you get to the top!

"I went to Copper for a weeks skiing at the beginning of Feb. Absolutely loved the place, great skiing for all levels. Long, wide runs. Very quiet on the slopes and in the bars monday to friday (no queing), busy at the weekends. Free bus to nearby towns (frisco, breckenridge) Just enough bars and restaurants to keep you entertained.
Definitely recommend Ski Safari, will use them again.
