"Would certainly go back to Aspen as the four resorts plus the town offered all an intermediate to advanced skier would want. Not as expensive as I had anticipated. Free bus service was also excellent ."

"Easter 2013 - Aspen via Iceland. We spent 3 nights in Reykjavik - Golden Circle Tour - very interesting and informative); Northern Lights Tour - fantastic - dancing and changing colour); Relax at the Blue Lagoon - on our way back to airport was very therapeutic and the landscape amazing. I could not recommend this trip more highly - the whole experience was amazing.
Aspen - 4 mountains all offering a different experience - Buttermilk had some easier runs but great fun for tricks and snowparks. Aspen Mountain, the closest, had nice wide open runs with plenty of trees and off-piste (also a Geology tour on skies with fascinating facts about the area). Highlands, the highest, some of the most challenging skiing Highland Bowl - catch the cat up to the bowl!!
Snowmass was the biggest area, lots of varied terrain. We had a great 2 weeks."

"Aspen is lovely town, lots of great places to eat - but it is not cheap - expect to pay $100 minimum for dinner for two including drinks."

"We were very early in the season and knew this was risky. Even with poor snowfalls (affected many Utah and Colorado resorts) they did their best to provide good quality skiing.

"As devotees of the Alps, we have spend some years wondering why anyone bothers with a ski trip to the Rockies. Having now spent ten days in Aspen we realise how wrong we were. It was well worth the trip- fantastic terrain for advanced skiers, empty slopes, trees everywhere and great service."

"We really enjoyed Aspen and had some of the best skiing we've ever had in terms of snow and weather. We would definitely return but probably keep to March - early April as I understand that it can get very busy in peak times, which I would imagine would involve queueing for shuttle buses, lifts, lunch restaurants (didn't seem like there were very many. So much more friendly and helpful than Europe and loved the gondola attendants who took your skies for you to put in the side and then lifted them out at the top - great little extra."
