"A fabulous resort and great hotel (Signina). We were lucky with the snow. Everything was spotlessly clean, service was good and although a bit pricey I would definitely return."

"We were actually in Flims rather than Laax. The skiing was good, the piste area was great the powder skiing was lovely. The resort has nice restaurants but apres ski was some what reserved. "

"Nice resort, not much evidence of fun but not bangin' things to do there in the evening.
Some really nice slopes for intermediate skiers. However not much evidence of regular piste maintenance. This adversely affected some of the lower slopes and the snow road down from these had a section that was all clear ice and rock.
Switzerland is, as reported, v. expensive for all goods!"

"We went to Flims for a long weekend, staying in the Hotel Mira Val. The resort was ideal for us - an easy transfer from Zurich, full of character, nothing too modern, wonderful pistes and few British skiers! The Mira Val was just as a family-run hotel should be and the owners were pleasant and helpful. "
