"Klosters is quieter, prettier and more traditional than its neighbour Davos. It’s great for a romantic getaway or for a family holiday but if you’re a bit of a party animal, head for Davos."

Our Tips

On The Mountain

  • Skiing - For the last run of the day, catch the cable car to the top of the Weissfluhgipfel, take route 1 and ski non-stop down to Klosters. Perfect! Snow permitting, ski the 12km run from the Weissfluhgipfel to the village of Kublis and catch the train back to Klosters. The train journey is included in your ski pass ticket.
  • Snow Bars - The Igloo Village is located in the middle of the Parsenn mountain at Hauptertaeli. During the day, pop in and have a drink at the bar or have a lunch time fondue. And in the evening, you can spend the night on the pistes, when the village turns into a hotel complete with hot tub. A great on-piste bar on Parsenn to check out is the Schneebar Totalp for a quick "Kaffi-Schnapps" or two.
  • Restaurant - For lunch with a view, there's a great restaurant at the top of the Weissfluhgipfel.

Off The Mountain

  • Restaurants (fine dining) - The Hotel Alpina has an excellent restaurant rated with 16 Gault Millau Points (if you are fond of dairy, order the cheese sleigh for dessert - it's really rather special).
  • Restaurants (informal) - If you fancy something a little more informal, try the lovely and cosy Chesa Grischuna restaurant and bar.
  • Spa - The Hotel Vereina has an excellent spa, if you fancy an afternoon without the skis.
