Grimentz is located in the French speaking Val d'Anniviers in Canton Valais (Wallis). It offers excellent snow conditions thanks to its high altitude. The village is extremely picturesque and is crammed with traditonal timber chalets housing a couple of hotels and some bars and restaurants.

Geneva is the closest airport to Grimentz, although Zurich is not much further away. From the airport, there is a train connection to Sierre and then a bus to resort.

The ski pass at Grimentz also covers the areas of St Luc/Chandolin and Zinal within the same valley covering a total of 220km of pistes. The shuttle bus from Grimentz to Zinal is free and the other resorts are easily accessible by bus.
