Summit Lodge

Expert Opinion

Filling the middle ground between the 5* and 3* hotels, the Summit Lodge is an extremely popular option with Ski Safari clients. The atmosphere is relaxed and the standards high. The hotel rooms have a kitchenette – great if for nothing other than breakfast and keeping your beer cold.

"Great accommodation in a peaceful location away from the bustle. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient - and the hot tub after a day's ski-ing is a must. "

"The Summit is a fantastic hotel which is situated in a quieter area than most of the other hotels - with the benefit of the supermarket in a square across the road. The staff are all extremely friendly and pleased to help making for a very relaxed stay. They have a great bus survice to the bottom of the slopes if you dont want to struggle with your skis - even if it is a fairly short walk! I'd highly recommend this hotel - they even do your washing up if you are short of time - or too busy relaxing apres style! "

"Very nice. Relaxed and friendly but also efficient staff who were always willing to help. Loved Elements Urban Tapas bar downstairs! Room was huge and they cleaned well every day - including our washing up one morning when we got up a bit late! Highly recommended. "

"One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. A relaxed informal atmosphere, hides the fact that the staff are extreamly efficient, and friendly. Rooms are big, comfortable and cleaned to perfection. Brilliant "
