Tips & Advice

  • Go skiing with Nancy Greene, the former Olympic Champion.  Nancy currently ski’s most Saturdays and Sundays and on days she is skiing a sign is posted at the base and top of the Sunburst Express chairlift. She meets Guests at 1pm at the top of the Sunburst Express - she's great company and you'll get both a great orientation of the mountains and learn more about Sun Peaks...it's free and suitable for all skill levels. Other complimentary guided tours meet every day at 9.15am and 1pm, slopeside of the Village Day Lodge.

  • If you don't want to pay for parking at your hotel, there's plenty of free parking available around the resort - ask your concierge.

  • There are loads of great aprés ski activities going on each week, so to make the most of them we recommend you go to Guest Services when you first arrive to see the plan for the week and get activities booked up eg. Fondue & torchlit descent, First Tracks and snowshoe marshmallow roast.

  • Look out for the Christmas tree run on Morrisey Mountain - families that own properties in Sun Peaks 'adopt' a tree over Christmas and decorate it.  You'll see a number of decorated trees as you go up the Morrisey Express chairlift.
