Tyax Resort


Your home at TLH Heliskiing is Tyax Resort, an impressive log lodge built on the shores of Tyaughton Lake. The lodge has a comfortable feel and cozy atmosphere with guests relaxing around a huge open fire and a well-stocked bar! Accommodation ia in spacious single or double rooms, all with TV, telephone (limited lines) and en-suite bathrooms. Wireless internet is available and there is a computer that is free for all to use.
 
After a day of skiing or riding excitement on the slopes, the hot tub and sauna are waiting! A resident masseuse is on hand to ease away any aches from the day. There is an dining room, lounge and bar - the centre-piece - of the lodge as well as a games room and exercise equipment. Stretch classes before breakfast are very popular.
 
The food is plentiful and set out buffet style, with drinks being served at the table. Guides and staff share stories with the guests at long tables.
 
In the event of a down day (ie no heli-skiing) guides can arrange other activities including snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice-fishing, table-tennis tournaments or an impromtu game of ice hockey on the snow-covered tennis court!
