Winter Park Resort is the fourth largest ski/ride mountain in Colorado with 3,078 acres, which means that there is a lot of explore including 142 trails, ranging from beginner to “you have to be crazy”, phenomenal tree skiing, and amazing cruisers. One of the great things about Winter Park Resort is the variety of terrain. Groups of mixed abilities can enjoy a chairlift ride together but choose their own route down before meeting again at the bottom.

If you have not been to Winter Park Resort in some time, you are going to be surprised by the changes and improvements made in the last few years. Highlights include three new chairlifts, restaurant renovations, a five acre addition dedicated to beginners, three new terrain parks, and enhanced terrain including tree skiing and new trails.
The addition of the Panoramic Express this season, North America’s highest high-speed six-person chairlift offering faster access to over 1,123 acres in Vasquez Cirque, Parsenn Bowl, and Eagle Wind, plus 100 acres of enhanced terrain with two new intermediate trails. Now intermediate and advanced skiers can access some of the best off-piste terrain in Vasquez Cirque and Parsenn Bowl without skiing down to the lower section of Winter Park Mountain.
Opening on January 16, 2008 NEW slopeside accommodations Fraser Crossing and shortly after Founders Pointe! These beautiful new condominiums range from studios to three bedroom condominiums, and are located just 200 meters Zephyr Express lift. These units offer such amenities as high-speed internet, access to an outdoor spa, fireplace, BBQ, and convenient private underground parking garage with storage lockers. Ski Safari is one of the first UK operators to feature these spectacular properties.
