James, our US product manager, has put together the guide below full of his tips on how to save money on your North American ski holiday. It gives invaluable advice on the best times to go where, how to make the most of special offers and how to have a more affordable holiday over peak holiday dates.
Make the most of Special Offers
LONG STAY OFFERS – such as 'Buy 6 Stay 7', 'Buy 8 Stay 10' and even 'Buy 11 Stay 14' in some properties.
Using these Special Offers you will find that extending your holiday can come at a minimal supplement.
EARLY BOOKING OFFERS – for peak periods, the earlier you book the better the accommodation and flight availability....therefore the cheaper the price of the holiday.
As flight seats sell out they become more expensive – not cheaper. Many properties will also offer up to a 25% additional discount, free breakfasts and complimentary room upgrades for early bookings.
AIRLINE SPECIALS – flight prices can vary significantly through the season - if you can take advantage of flight special offers, be flexible with your low season dates and avoid travelling at weekends, you can save up to £100pp on your flights.
Look out for details of these savings in our e-newsletters, but beware - they do not normally apply at peak periods and do not tend to be available on Saturdays.
