Travelling at Christmas or New Year?

This coming season has seen a change in the pricing policies for airlines flying to the USA. In the past, flight prices have gone up significantly for the Christmas period from 16th December. But this year prices are not rising at all over this time. This makes US destinations over Christmas and New Year much more affordable than usual.

As the Americans do not tend to take Christmas skiing holidays until 26th December, some hotels and condos do not raise their rates until after Christmas Day – meaning if you take a 10 night holiday from the 16th December, this can now be cheaper than going in January!!
