Steamboat is more than just a big mountain; it's an authentic western town that serves as a constant reminder that the Old West is alive and well. Founded over 100 years ago, it’s a place where you’ll find every modern amenity and plenty of old-fashioned courtesies.
Historic downtown is a place where gourmet restaurants alternate with casual cafés, boutiques, galleries, museums and retail stores, many of which have been in business for generations.
